“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change”

– Carl Rogers

In our fast-paced society, we are constantly bombarded with messages that tell us we aren’t good enough, smart enough, attractive enough, or worthy of love and acceptance for who we are. You may have even heard these same messages in your home growing up, which reinforced these beliefs and left parts of you feeling unseen, unheard, and unloved. The truth is that you are enough and you are not alone.

I recognize the courage it takes to be vulnerable and open your heart up to the process of healing. It is my sincere goal to foster a therapeutic environment rooted in safety, acceptance, and compassion, while moving at a pace that feels most comfortable to you. I will sit with you, cry with you, laugh with you, and be present with you as you go through the beautiful, messy journey of reconnecting with your innate authenticity. I unequivocally believe you are capable of healing emotional wounds, forming healthy relationships, overcoming painful memories, and making decisions that move your life in the direction you desire.

I approach mental wellness through a person-centered and holistic lens. The interplay between our mind·body·spirit, emotions, thoughts, intersecting identities, roles in life, environment, culture, and beliefs all contribute to our unique humanness. I am trained to work with individuals experiencing a spectrum of mental health concerns and incorporate various mindfulness, somatic, experiential, narrative, and compassion-based elements with clients. My approach is integrative and always tailored to your specific needs and goals. I have a particular interest in working with people experiencing issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, spiritual/religious trauma, identity, Existential issues, men’s issues, and life transitions. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.

In my free time, I like to write poetry and prose, go to The Belcourt, do karaoke, see live music, get out in nature, spend time with friends, and bounce around to different coffee shops.
