Life is hard. What makes the hard times worth it is going through them with the meaningful people around you. During the hard times, we often find ourselves stuck in unhelpful, or even harmful patterns that can feel so hard to break free from. In the midst of difficulty, it’s easy to become distant and isolated from the people who mean the most. If you feel stuck, at an impasse, or just want to strengthen your relationships, then I’m here to help. There is both immense fear and great joy in creating change, and I look forward to sitting with both.

I work with couples and families, specializing in those with queer identities, whatever that may look like for you! I have particular interests in working with couples in nontraditional relationships as well as families with adult children. I offer an affirming space for all identities across the spectrum and work with all types of couples and families in their desire to rediscover their favorite parts of each other by the means of communication and intimacy. I believe in the power of relational therapy to deepen our connections and understanding of one another, as well as the systems that connect us.

I work from a strengths-based perspective with all of my clients and integrate attachment, emotionally focused therapy, narrative therapy, and structural family therapy. As a couple and family therapist, I value you as a person in the context of all the systems that impact your life. My therapeutic style is both warm and direct, offering authenticity, empathy, and understanding at every phase of our work together.

In my free time, I love to try new restaurants, snuggle with my cats, and rewatch shows that I’ve already seen a million times.
