Back to School Stress

The responsibility that parents face and the expectations put on children can be overwhelming however there are ways to overcome the stressors of the new school year.
Stressors around school
Stress can look different depending on the age of the child and what grade they are going into. Younger children struggle with social anxiety from parents and family and as they get older it becomes more surrounded on social settings, friends, and trying to fit in.
For children the stressors surround the expectations put on them to do well in school and to make friends and fit in with their peers. For parents, it is the responsibility that causes stress. They are responsible for taking care of their children and for pushing them to succeed and be a part of different groups and extracurricular activities.
